Jewelry care

Sterling Silver Jewelry:

Air and moisture in the air will oxidize or tarnish sterling silver.  To keep your jewelry from becoming dull or tarnished when not wearing it, store it in an airtight individual plastic bag.    A sealed bag will be provided for you when you purchase as well as an anti-tarnish square to be kept in the bag with your jewelry.  If your jewelry has already tarnished, not to worry, it can be easily brought back by polishing with a polishing cloth that can be purchased at any local jewelry store.

Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver, therefore it is hypoallergenic for most people.

Gold Filled Jewelry:

Gold filled jewelry is made by bonding several thin layers of 14kt gold over high quality jeweler’s brass. The results are long-lasting and long wearing gold-colored products.  Gold filled jewelry can retain its gold color for decades if cared for properly.  To preserve the life of your jewelry, avoid contact with chemicals and soaps.  If your jewelry becomes dull looking, you can bring it back to life by cleaning it using a polishing cloth or gently hand washing it with a mild soap, such as Dawn.
